Well yeah it is this mentality regarding American sitcoms and movies. In every third US movie there is some referrance to circing and the attitude to uncut men isn't really nice....

Also if you read forums not like that one, where people aren't so open than here, you see lots of responses such as "Ew gross" and so on and so forth, you know what I mean....
 
uncut from NY. We do exist. Strangely, all (or most) my friends have been uncut too. my brother, who's circed, seemed to always have friends were chopped. Not that we chose, it wound up that way..

Uncut American-born 40 year old here. Growing up I'd say it was about 60 circed/40 uncirced in my highschool. I bet the circ percentage is much lower now.
